TGG2007 also known as Bloggers Party Together Gather 2007 was the first of its kind to be held organized by the bloggers themselves.
Venue : Federal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur
Date : 9 March 2007
Time : 6 pm till 11 pm
Dress code : Anything
Charge : RM100.00 RM35.00 (payment made b4 18 Feb 2007)
RM40.00 (payment made after 18 Feb 2007)
As the committee of the TGG2007 at that time, it was a do-or-die event. Since we have forked out some cash to book the venue, we have no choice but to move forward trying to get more sponsors in. It was in December 2006 when our chairman placed the booking at the Federal Hotel and at that moment we have zero sponsorship.
As the big day draw closer, we still had no news from any sponsors until one fine day, PIKOM decided to be the sponsor for the TGG2007. From that day onwards, slowly we had more than 10 sponsors to date. These sponsors came from various kind from big organization to individuals. Here’s the sponsors below:-
With these lineup of sponsors, many bloggers blogged about the event. It was a hit with 100 pax limit, we a turnout of 114 total. Do find below these links of those blogs that mentioning the event. It create a lot of feedbacks pertaining the party. Some even write in to ask if they could still be part of the sponsors.
After that day, many return home a satisfied blogger. They had enough pictures taken, a full stomach, story to blog about and last but not least, everyone able to meet up with their bloggers and readers for the first time. This truly reflect to one of our objectives which to bring the blogosphere in Malaysia to a closer community. Some of their feedback from the TGG2007 as below:-

This year, we want to do it again. To revive the TGG took tremendous effort as most of the previous committee members were unavailable. Furthermore this event aimed to be a neutral ground and platform for the blogosphere in general.
We had our meetings and meetings. Meeting numerous end as everyone occupied with their current jobs or studies. Priorities comes first. Something have to make way. Now at the middle of the year, we begin to concern and to question whether we are able to pull it through?
Our strength to make it still depends on the blogosphere whether they want it or not. Since that there are aplenty of parties going around, so tell us whether to get the TGG 2 this year.
