About Us
The Together Gather Bloggers Party was the brainchild of few bloggers when they meet up to talk c*ck and sing song. It was just an idea that gathering bloggers from all walks of life, all different segments came together to bring closer ties in the local blogosphere. Our goal was to be a neutral and independent group that allows everyone to interact with each other, in the Net as well as in the Real Life.
It was in the month of July 2006 when the chairman starts finding people to work together in this project. By the month of November, the initial invitation were out. Being a noob in organizing events, we stumbled our first road block. The cost was running high. Venue, events and everything seems screwed up. A collective decision was made at the end of that month. Postponed.
We postponed the event to year 2007, March. As we getting closer to the party date, more sponsors came in. We getting more volunteers. Thanks to these sponsors, we manage to reduce the ticket price to make it affordable to everyone. It was our first. We did it. Not the best yet but we strive to make it better as we move on.
